At Xinyun we are committed to ensuring that the trust you put in us by using our website is respected. We want you to feel confident that the information you share with us is being looked after and reassure you that we will never give your details to third parties.
THE TYPE OF DATA WE COLLECT
YOUR ORDER DETAILS
When you buy a product on our website in order to process it, we do need to collect some of your details. We need your name and billing address and the name and address to which to send the order (either yourself or the gift recipient). We also need a contact email address to send you an order confirmation and to alert you when the item has been dispatched and keep you updated with tracking information. We also like to take a contact number so we can get in touch if there is an issue with your order, but this is not obligatory. You can be assured that we hold this information securely and we will not allow third parties to access these details.
YOUR PERSONALISATION DATA AND GIFT MESSAGES
Many of our gifts are sent to people going through very difficult times and we are very sensitive to this. As a customer, you can trust that we do not use this information for any kind of profiling or customer behaviour modification or share this information with third parties.
At checkout we give you the option to sign up to our mailing list. The purpose of any correspondence will be to let you know about new products that we think you might like to see or to give you a special offer as one of our loyal customers. You are easily able to unsubscribe at any time. We use a third party provider, MailChimp to deliver these emails. For more information, please see MailChimp’s privacy notice.
Our mailing list is private and no other third party will be able to gain access to this.
When someone visits www.notanotherbunchofflowers.com we may use Google Analytics, to monitor visitor trends. This information is only processed in a way that does not identify anyone and helps us find out things such as the number of visitors to the various parts of the site. We do not make, and do not allow Google to make, any attempt to find out the identities of those visiting our website.
Feefo are our review generators and are acting on our behalf. They are only permitted to use your email address and name to request a review from you (which can be left anonymously). Reviews are very important to our little business and we are very grateful to everyone who leaves a review. We take all feedback on board.
ROYAL MAIL AND COURIERS
The majority of our parcels are sent via Royal Mail. We also use a few couriers including DHL and UK Mail. We obviously need to share certain details such as the shipping name and address and email address if you selected a tracked delivery service. All of our shipping providers are acting on our behalf and are also GDPR compliant and will not share these details with any third party.
ACCESSING YOUR PERSONAL DATA
You are entitled to view, amend, or delete the personal information that we hold. Email your request to our data protection officer at firstname.lastname@example.org.
